Amateur Chess Tournaments Results
Revanth wins under 10 category, Dushyanth Clinches U-15
Madhu Chary Gets U-19 and Sriram is Open Category Champion
In the A2H Chess Academy organized Amateur Chess Tournaments, G.Revanth Reddy of Sri Sai Siddhartha School won Under 10 years Category with 5 points from as many rounds. In the final round he defeated K. Pranav of Chirec Public School. Pranav stood runner up with 4 points. V.Sri Sanketh of Johnson Grammer School who also scored 4 points placed 3rd due to lesser progressive (tie break) score.
Under 15 Years Category also witnessed clear winner. After five rounds N. Dushyanth emerged champion with 5 points by defeating runner up P.V.Kiran(4) in the final round.
The Events attracted 48 entries, most of them first timers, from various chess camps and schools. All the paraticipants were given Book-lets on Chess Laws. Top five in each category were presented Books on Chess Strategies, Endings, Middle Game and Opening Ideas. In a simple valedictory function Veteran Chess Players Mr. Lanka Srinivas and Mr. K.Sita Ram gave away the prizes. Under 10 : 1st G.Revanth Reddy (5 points) 2-3 K.Pranav, V.Sri Sanketh (4 each ); 4th -7th S Chandu, Tejaswi Reddy, G Srimanth, M. Asish (3 each).
Under 15 : 1st N Dushyanth (5); 2nd -5th P.V.Kiran, Kumar Nataraj, A Nithin, K Pruhvi (4 points each).
Under 19 (Round Robin) : 1. Madhu Chary (3), 2. Vasundhar (2.5), 3. G.Suhas (2), 4. N.Karthya (1.5), 5. Phani Prasad (1) Open Category (Double Game Knock-Out) Winner : R. Sriram(2-0) Runner-up : V.Srikanth (0-2)

Amateur Chess Tournaments
Under -10, Under 15, Under-19, and Open Category
On Sunday, 14th May 2006, at Kukatpally
A2H Chess Academy will organize Open and Age Group Chess Tournaments for Amateur Chess players on 14th May 2006 at Kennedy School, Kukatpally.
These non-professional events will be held in four categories i.e., Under 10 Years Age Group , U-15, U-19 and Open Category ( no age limit ). Children who take up chess recently and who are under going training in different summer chess camps can utilize this opportunity to familiar with tournaments rules and get an experience about competitive chess.
Prizes: Top five players in each category will get books on Chess Endings, Strategies and Techniques. Besides these special prizes, all the participants will be given book-lets on basic chess laws and if interested they can attend one week refresher chess course at the same venue from 15th to 21st May 2006.
Entries Interested can register their names at the venue daily between 5pm-7pm before 12th May (Friday ). Entry fee Rs. 100/- per participant.
